Our training centre is based on Harwich Road, Ardleigh, Colchester, Essex CO7 7LS, and is just off the Harwich Road between the far side of Ardleigh and Lawford.
We welcome our new customers to come and view our new premises during a class or at an arranged time to meet one of us instructors and see where your dog could be enjoying their training!
We have our own purpose built 60x20ft barn which is used solely for our training purposes, along with our large fully enclosed paddock which is attached to the barn and we have double doors leading directly from inside to outside for our customers convenience and the dog’s enjoyment!
Our fencing is 5ft-6ft high combination of solid wire and wooden so training can take place securely and safely. In front of our paddock and barn we have our own car park, plus additional parking on the driveway leading up to the car park next to the hedge.
We train both indoors and outdoors all year round, and have paddock lighting so can still use the outside area at night for the agility classes and any lead walking or recall exercises we need extra space for in winter.
We have facilities including toilets and inside we have insulation and heating to keep training comfortable – but be aware to bring coats and boots etc in the winter in case we need to pop outside for a few minutes!!
Please contact us if you would like to come along and view the premises – we have classes running most days so arranging a suitable time is no problem!
Striving to continue sustainability within our Dog Training:
Sustainability and supporting other businesses who are also sustainable is high on the priority list for us. We utilise materials to be repurposed when creating equipment and props for our workshops, recycle materials such as cardboard boxes and plastic bottles from our team and clients, use solar powered lighting in the paddock and have a fantastic Eco Toilet for all to use as just a few ways we apply sustainability every day.
Being supportive of other small businesses with similar values to us is also important and we support fellow dog businesses such as Beco, No Fuss Fill, Soopa, Tug-e-Nuff, Lily’s Kitchen and YuMove to name just a few!
In August 2024 we started looking further into improving our digital and online sustainability and have been working on the Small Business Britain Sustainability in Business course during Autumn so help us make better choices for overall good. Look out for our blog about this!
